Starting with hammer, Robertson blanked the first 2 ends, then got on the board scoring 1 in the third end. Robertson forced Yoshimura to a single in the fourth end, then scored 2 in the fifth end to take a 3-1 lead. Another force as Yoshimura was held to a single in the sixth end with Robertson scoring 2 in the seventh end for the three point lead into the final end. Robertson held on, running Yoshimura out of stones for the 5-2 win. In the semifinals, Robertson defeated Ashley Howard (Regina, Saskatchewan) 8-7 in an extra end and Yoshimura defeated Kristen Streifel (Regina, Saskatchewan) 6-5 in an extra end. Howard and Streifel earned $3,250CDN and 24.374 ranking points for their semifinal finishes. In the quarterfinals, Robertson defeated Amber Holland (Regina, Saskatchewan) 5-1, Yoshimura defeated Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) 5-4 in an extra end, while Streifel defeated Allison Flaxey (Winnipeg, Manitoba) 6-5 in an extra end and Howard defeated Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, Manitoba) 8-1. Anderson, Holland, Jones earned $2,000CDN along with 17.205 ranking points for their quarterfinal finishes. Robertson went 3-0 in the 18 team Triple Knockout qualifying round.
