Sivernagle, with third Kristen Streifel, second Jessie Hunkin, and lead Dayna Demers, opened the game with a score of three in the second end, after blanking in the first.

Howard's rink answered back with one in the third end and then stole an additional point in the fourth. At the break, Silvernagle held a 3-2 lead.

In the fifth end, Team Silvernagle were forced to one, opening up a 4-2 lead over Howard.

Team Howard would cut into Silvernagle's lead in the sixth end by scoring two, their first multiple-point end of the draw.

With the game tied at four apiece going into the seventh end, Team Silvernagle needed to deliver with the hammer, which they did by putting up a deuce on the board, regaining the lead 6-4.

After the game got away from them in the eighth end, Team Silvernagle oped for handshakes, giving Silvernagle the 6-4 win, booking the team a spot in Sunday's playoffs.

The victory marks Silvernagle's second of the tournament after they beat Sherry Just's rink 6-4 in Draw 2 on Friday evening.

With their loss, Team Howard now drops down to the B-Side where they will face Lorraine Schneider's Regina-based squad in a qualifier on Saturday afternoon.

In Saturday's other A-Side qualifier, Michelle Englot's team from Regina downed Moose-Jaw's Penny Barker 6-3. The result booked Englot a spot in the quarterfinals alongside Silvernagle.

The remainder of Saturday's draw will see teams in the B and C-Sides jockeying for eight spots in Sunday's playoffs.

The playoffs begin Sunday morning with a quarterfinal draw set for 8:30 am CT at the Swift Current Curling Club. The semi-finals go at 12 pm, with the championship final scheduled for 4 pm.
