In Own Words:
Curling is something I grew up with, the (other sport), besides hockey in small town Saskatchewan in the winter.[cr][lf]It become a social event for me, the personal and team goals that keeps me striving for the top. With three young children involved in many activities of their own, it also has become the competitive sport of choice for me. I like that it is a sport that I can play for a long long time ( I had a grandma that curled into her 80s!). It is very exciting to see a sport that 20 year olds up to 50 year olds compete against each other. I'm a big supporter of growing the sport and continuing the improvements on the traditions of curling.( in game, level of play and increased popularity world wide!)
Curling Highlights:
Runner-up 2007 STOH[cr][lf]Alternate at 2003 STOH team Sask[cr][lf]Alternate at 2005 Olympic trials ( team Betker)[cr][lf]Coach/Alternate at 1998 STOH team Sask
