9-7 to Reid Carruthers (Beausejour, MB), then responded with a 8-3 win over Shane Park (St. Albert, AB). Pahl went on to lose 10-7 against Jeff Erickson (Edmonton, AB). Pahl responded with a 9-7 win over Lloyd Hill (Calgary, AB). Pahl won 7-3 against Graham Freeman (Virden, MB), then won 7-5 against Les Rogers (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic Championship title, Pahl earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Pahl did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pahl ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
