Johnson lost 6-5 to Leon Moch (Medicine Hat, AB) where Johnson responded with a 5-2 win over Brent MacDonald (Edmonton, AB). Johnson went on to lose 6-1 against Joel Jordison (Moose Jaw, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Johnson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Johnson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
