Eve Belisle (Montreal, PQ) lost 9-4 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, held September 17 - 20, 2009 in Brockville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Belisle won 7-5 over Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in the semifinals
 
Belisle finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Belisle defeated Patti Lank (Niagara Falls, NY) 7-5, then won 6-5 against Jo-Ann Rizzo (Brantford, ON). Belisle went on to lose 7-6 against Allison Ross (Ormstown, PQ). Belisle responded with a 9-7 win over Robyn Mattie (Ottawa, ON). Belisle won 7-6 against Marie-France Larouche (Etchemin, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic, Belisle take home 11.900 world rankings points along with the $3,800CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Belisle did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Belisle ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
