Butler Reaches 2009 Challenge Casino Lac Leamy Quarters

Ted Butler (Gatineau, PQ) qualified for the 2009 Challenge Casino Lac Leamy playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Neil Sinclair (Manotick, ON).

Butler won 8-6 against Cory Heggestad (Barrie, ON), then won 6-5 against Quebec's Thierry Fournier in their final qualifying round match.

Butler earned 9.570 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Challenge Casino Lac Leamy. For week of the event schedule, Butler did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
