Randy Bryden (Regina, SK) lost 7-3 to Dave Elias (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Point Optical Curling Classic, held November 26 - 29, 2010 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Bryden won 5-4 over Joel Jordison (Moose Jaw, SK) in the semifinals of the 2010 Point Optical Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 6-3 over Brock Virtue (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Point Optical Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Bryden finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryden defeated Randy Woytowich (Regina, SK) 5-3, then won 6-3 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Bryden went on to lose 6-3 against Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK). Bryden lost 6-5 to Elias where Bryden responded with a 6-5 win over Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK). Bryden won 7-4 against Warren Hassall (Lloydminster, AB), then won 5-4 against Scott Egger (Brooks, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Point Optical Curling Classic, Bryden take home 15.300 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Bryden did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bryden ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
