Al Schick (Regina, SK) qualified for the 2010 Point Optical Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-3 against Joel Jordison (Moose Jaw, SK). of the 2010 Point Optical Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Schick finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schick defeated Scott Madams (Winnipeg, MB) 8-2, then won 6-5 against Dave Elias (Winnipeg, MB). Schick went on to lose 7-5 against Jordison. Schick responded with a 7-2 win over Randy Woytowich (Regina, SK). Schick went on to lose 4-2 against Brock Virtue (Calgary, AB). Schick responded with a 7-2 win over Kevin Marsh (Regina, SK). Schick won 7-6 against Eugene Hritzuk (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Schick earned 9.180 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Point Optical Curling Classic, moving up 76 spots the World Ranking Standings into 114th place overall with 15.360 total points.
