Kaufman Reaches 2010 The Shoot-Out Quarters

Jessie Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2010 The Shoot-Out playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-5 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2010 The Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta;
 
Kaufman finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaufman defeated Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) 7-4, then won 9-6 against Nicole Blenkin (Calgary, AB) and 7-4 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB). Kaufman went on to lose 6-5 against Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB). Kaufman responded with a 7-1 win over Bobbie Sauder (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kaufman earned 11.130 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the The Shoot-Out, moving up 38 spots the World Ranking Standings into 54th place overall with 16.833 total points. Kaufman ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.130 points earned so far this season.
