									Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) won 6-5 over Cathy King (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the The Shoot-Out, held September 16 - 19, 2010 in Edmonton, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Nedohin won 8-5 over Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals   of the 2010 The Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta; and won 8-4 over Holly Scott (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2010 The Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta; 
 
Nedohin finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nedohin lost 5-4 to Lisa Eyamie (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 10-1 win over Tiffany McKeeman (Edmonton, AB). Nedohin won 7-4 against Scott, then won 8-2 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) and 8-0 against Alberta's Amanda White in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the The Shoot-Out Championship title, Nedohin earned 29.680 world rankings points along with the $4,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 12th place overall with 89.401 total points. Nedohin ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.680 points earned so far this season.
