Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) qualified for the 2010 The Shoot-Out playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). of the 2010 The Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta;
 
Sonnenberg finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sonnenberg defeated Bobbie Sauder (Edmonton, AB) 7-4, then won 8-1 against Nicole Blenkin (Calgary, AB) and 5-4 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT). Sonnenberg won 6-5 against Jessie Kaufman (Edmonton, AB), then won 5-4 against Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
