Julie Hastings (Toronto, ON) won 5-4 over Ontario's Cathy Auld in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 22 - 25, 2011 in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Hastings won 7-3 over Ontario's Marika Bakewell in the semifinals of the 2011 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; and won 6-4 over Ontario's Kristy Russell in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario;
 
Hastings finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hastings defeated Ashley Waye (Toronto, ON) 8-2, then won 7-2 against Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) and 5-3 against Heather Graham (Barrie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KW Fall Classic Championship title, Hastings earned 6.750 world rankings points along with the $3,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 27th place overall with 39.270 total points. Hastings ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.550 points earned so far this season.
