To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Cathy Auld won 6-2 over Ontario's Leslie Bishop in the semifinals of the 2011 KW Fall Classic in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario; and won 4-3 over Laura Crocker (Waterloo, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Ontario's Cathy Auld finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Cathy Auld lost 6-5 to Ontario's Kaitlin Stubbs, then responded with a 9-3 win over Ontario's Kristy Russell. Ontario's Cathy Auld won 6-2 against Alison Goring (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Ontario's Cathy Auld take home 4.725 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN prize, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 17.818 total points.
