Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 7-2 over Rob Rumfeldt (Guelph, ON) in the semifinals of the 2011 Challenge Casino Lac Leamy in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada; and won 5-4 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Challenge Casino Lac Leamy in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada;
 
Jacobs finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Don Westphal (Thurso, PQ) 5-2, then won 8-5 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Toronto, ON). Jacobs went on to lose 6-5 against Mark Kean (Toronto, ON). Jacobs responded with a 5-4 win over Rumfeldt in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Challenge Casino Lac Leamy, Jacobs take home 15.680 world rankings points along with the $6,500CDN prize, remaining in 10th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 135.780 total points. Jacobs ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.670 points earned so far this season.
