Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau/Levis, PQ) won 7-6 over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) in the Final of the Challenge Casino Lac Leamy, held October 20 - 23, 2011 at the Buckingham Curling Club in Buckingham, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Menard won 5-3 over Mark Kean (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2011 Challenge Casino Lac Leamy in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada; and won 7-3 over Pierre Charette (Saguenay, PQ) in the quarterfinals. of the 2011 Challenge Casino Lac Leamy in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada;
 
Menard finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Menard defeated Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS) 7-1, then won 8-4 against Rob Rumfeldt (Guelph, ON) and 7-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Challenge Casino Lac Leamy Championship title, Menard earned 22.400 world rankings points along with the $9,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 13th place overall with 110.436 total points.
