Jon Rennie (Calgary, AB) 7-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK). Bryden lost 6-5 to Rick McKague (Edmonton, AB) where Bryden responded with a 7-0 win over Leon Moch (Medicine Hatt, AB). Bryden won 7-3 against Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK). Bryden went on to lose 6-4 against Matt Lemna (Airdrie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 9 of the event schedule, Bryden did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 38th to 39th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 43.325 total points. Bryden ranks 118th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.575 points earned so far this season.
