Petryk responded with a 9-7 win over Brad Heidt (Kindersley, SK). Petryk won 5-1 against Alexey Tselousov (Moscow, RUS), then won 3-2 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Beausejour, MB) and 6-2 against Tom Appelman (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Petryk earned 4.965 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the MNP Charity Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 65.619 total points. Petryk ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.579 points earned so far this season.
