To advance to the championship game, Overton-Clapham won 7-6 over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in the semifinals
 
Overton-Clapham finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Overton-Clapham defeated Eve Muirhead (Perth, SCO) 7-6, then won 7-3 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) and 6-5 against Middaugh. Overton-Clapham won 7-3 against Lawton, then won 4-3 against Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB) and 6-4 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Overton-Clapham went on to lose 6-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Sun Life Financial Players' Championship, Overton-Clapham take home 30.000 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 193.232 total points. Overton-Clapham ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 135.170 points earned so far this season.
