In their opening game, Chandler defeated Glen Dadswell (Parry Sound, ON) 8-3, then went on to lose 10-6 against Al Hutchinson (Owen Sound, ON). Chandler responded with a 6-3 win over Daniel Frans (St. Catharines, ON). Chandler won 4-3 against Wade Walsh (Owen Sound, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
