Scott lost 6-4 to Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) where Scott responded with a 6-3 win over Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC). Scott went on to lose 9-4 against Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Scott earned 5.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 19th place overall with 49.951 total points. Scott ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.000 points earned so far this season.
