Nedohin went on to lose 6-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Nedohin responded with a 8-7 win over Jackie Lockhart (Edinburgh, SCO). Nedohin won 7-1 against Finland's Ellen Vogt in their final qualifying round match.
