Fenson finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenson defeated Ryan Lemke (Medford, WI) 9-2, then won 7-2 against Matt Mielke (Boston, MA). Fenson went on to lose 5-2 against Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, NONT). Fenson responded with a 10-3 win over Andy Jukich (Duluth, MN). Fenson won 9-3 against Justin McBride (Orange County, CA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Fenson earned 1.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Paul Cash Spiel. For week 9 of the event schedule, Fenson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fenson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
