After advancing directly to the championship game, Thomas Scoffin (Edmonton, AB) lost 4-3 to Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the M&M Meat Shops Junior Curling Championship, held January 31 - February 10, 2013 in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Scoffin won 22-2 against David Kakuktinniq (Rankin Inlet, NU), then won 6-4 against Mitch Young (Whitehorse, YK) and 8-4 against Tyler Smith (Cornwall, PEI). Scoffin won 9-5 against Tyler Klymchuk (Langley, BC), then won 10-4 against Josh Barry (Fredericton, NB) and 7-4 against Felix Asselin (Montreal, PQ). Scoffin won 7-5 against Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS), then won 8-3 against Dunstone in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the M&M Meat Shops Junior Curling Championship, Scoffin take home 5.000 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Scoffin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 671st place on the World Ranking Standings with 0.000 total points.
