In their opening game, Flemming lost 6-3 to Shea Steele (Halifax, NS), droppimg another game, 10-4 to Mark Dacey (Halifax, NS) where Flemming responded with a 6-1 win over Alan O'Leary (Halifax, NS). Flemming won 7-2 against Peter Burgess (Truro, NS), then won 8-1 against Ian Juurlink (Halifax, NS). Flemming went on to lose 7-3 against Murphy. Flemming responded with a 9-3 win over Chad Stevens (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Molson Coors Tankard Championship title, Flemming earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 96th place overall with 16.618 total points.
