Scott finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scott lost 5-3 to Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN), then responded with a 5-2 win over Kelley Law (New Westminister, BC). Scott won 7-5 against Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB), then won 5-4 against Laura Crocker (Edmonton, AB) and 5-4 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Scott went on to lose 8-2 against Ott. Scott responded with a 7-5 win over Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Scott earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 21st place overall with 82.000 total points. Scott ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.000 points earned so far this season.
