To advance to the championship game, Jacobs won 5-3 over Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, QC) in the semifinals of the 2013 Stu Sells Oakville Tankard in Oakville, Ontario; and won 4-3 over Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Stu Sells Oakville Tankard in Oakville, Ontario;

Jacobs finished 4-0 in the 35-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN) 7-3, then won 8-1 against Chris Ciasnocha (Stouffville, ON) and 8-2 against Ontario's Pat Ferris. Jacobs won 7-1 against Ben Bevan (Ajax, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard Championship title, Jacobs earned 35.000 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 4 of the event schedule, Jacobs did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Jacobs ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
