Nicol lost 10-4 to Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) where Nicol responded with a 10-5 win over Ashley Kallos (Thunder Bay, ON). Nicol went on to lose 8-5 against Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
