Allison Flaxey (Listowel, ON) won 7-5 over Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Scotties, held January 6 - 12, 2014 at the YNCU Curling Centre in Sault Ste.Marie, Canada.
 
Flaxey finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flaxey defeated Ashley Kallos (Thunder Bay, ON) 7-5, then went on to lose 7-3 against Tracy Horgan (Sudbury, ON). Flaxey responded with a 8-6 win over Hollie Nicol (Toronto, ON). Flaxey won 9-3 against Cathy Auld (Toronto, ON), then won 9-1 against Julie Reddick (Toronto, ON) and 9-0 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON). Flaxey won 7-2 against Hastings. Flaxey went on to lose 8-7 against Kendra Lilly (North Bay, ON). Flaxey responded with a 11-3 win over Dawna Premo (Sault Ste Marie, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ontario Scotties Championship title, Flaxey earned 12.080 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 31st place overall with 62.560 total points. Flaxey ranks 19th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.175 points earned so far this season.
