Epping finished 4-0 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Ontario's Richard Krell 8-4, then won 7-5 against Adam Casey (Charlottetown, PEI) and 7-5 against Jake Walker (Brampton, ON). Epping won 4-3 against Bowser in their final qualifying round match.
