To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Sherry Middaugh won 6-5 over Jonna McManus (Gavle, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2014 Dodd and Souter Gord Carroll Curling Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-3 over Megan Balsdon (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Dodd and Souter Gord Carroll Curling Classic in Whitby, Ontario, Canada;
 
Ontario's Sherry Middaugh finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ontario's Sherry Middaugh defeated Ontario's Suzanne Frick 6-1, then went on to lose 4-3 against Ontario's Rhonda Varnes. Ontario's Sherry Middaugh responded with a 6-4 win over Ontario's Jacqueline Harrison. Ontario's Sherry Middaugh won 7-5 against Kelly Cochrane (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
