Pfister finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pfister defeated Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP) 9-3, then won 5-4 against Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) and 7-1 against Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER). Pfister won 6-4 against Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE), then won 6-3 against Aku Kauste (Helsinki, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Curling Masters Champery, Pfister take home 7.875 world rankings points along with the $10,629CDN prize, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 33rd place overall with 41.944 total points.
