To advance to the championship game, Sik won 6-4 over Scotland's Stuart Taylor in the semifinals of the 2014 Edinburgh International in Edinburgh, Scotland, Scotland; and won 6-4 over Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Edinburgh International in Edinburgh, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Sik finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sik lost 8-6 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, UK), then responded with a 6-5 win over Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO).
