In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO) 5-2, then won 7-3 against Evgeniy Demkina (Moscow, RUS) and 6-3 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE). Tirinzoni went on to lose 5-5 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
