Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT) finished 2-4 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stasa-Sarsune defeated Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) 9-5, then went on to lose 9-5 against Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE). Stasa-Sarsune lost 11-5 to Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) where Stasa-Sarsune responded with a 10-5 win over Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Stasa-Sarsune went on to lose 10-9 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Stasa-Sarsune lost 7-6 to Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Stasa-Sarsune earned 3.036 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Stasa-Sarsune did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
