Roy went on to lose 6-3 against Terri Loblaw (Calgary, AB). Roy responded with a 5-2 win over Kim Link (Winnipeg, MB). Roy won 6-4 against Sandra Jenkins (Salmon Arm, BC). Roy went on to lose 6-5 against Laura Phillips (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
