Oke went on to lose 8-1 against Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT). Oke responded with a 6-4 win over Walter Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK). Oke went on to lose 6-3 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
