To advance to the championship game, Minnesota's Todd Birr won 5-2 over Stephen Dropkin (Minneapolis, MN) in the semifinals of the 2015 St. Paul Cash Spiel in St. Paul; and won 6-5 over Mike Farbelow (St. Paul, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 St. Paul Cash Spiel in St. Paul;
 
Minnesota's Todd Birr finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Minnesota's Todd Birr lost 5-4 to Peter Stolt (St. Paul, MN), then responded with a 5-3 win over Korey Dropkin (Blaine, USA). Minnesota's Todd Birr won 7-5 against Andrew Stopera (Chicago, IL), then won 6-3 against Arizona's Daryl Horsman in their final qualifying round match.
