Heath McCormick (New York, NY) lost 6-2 to Minnesota's Todd Birr in the Final of the St. Paul Cash Spiel, held October 9 - 11, 2015 at the St. Paul Curling Club in St. Paul, . To advance to the championship game, McCormick won 7-6 over Bret Jackson (Brighton, MI) in the semifinals of the 2015 St. Paul Cash Spiel in St. Paul; and won 6-1 over Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
McCormick finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCormick defeated Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) 6-5, then won 10-5 against John Lilla (St Paul, MN, MN) and 6-3 against Stephen Dropkin (Minneapolis, MN). McCormick won 6-2 against Brandon Scheel (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the St. Paul Cash Spiel, McCormick take home 12.445 world rankings points along with the $2,600CDN prize, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 52.887 total points. McCormick ranks 47th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.114 points earned so far this season.
