Eskilsson lost 6-5 to Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) where Eskilsson responded with a 3-2 win over Se Hyeon Seong (Uiseong, KOR). Eskilsson won 6-5 against Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB), then won 7-1 against Manitoba's Daley Peters in their final qualifying round match.
