Menard went on to lose 7-3 against Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Menard responded with a 6-5 win over Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC). Menard won 9-5 against Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON). Menard went on to lose 9-4 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). Menard lost 7-6 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) where Menard responded with a 9-7 win over Mike Kennedy (Moncton, NB). Menard went on to lose 8-6 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Menard lost 8-5 to Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

Menard earned 12.668 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.506 after improving upon their best so far this season. Menard ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 135.366 points earned so far this season.
