Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) won 5-3 over Jamie Danbrook (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Appleton Rum Cashspiel, held September 25 - 28, 2015 in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, MacDougall won 6-3 over Matthew Manuel (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2015 Appleton Rum Cashspiel in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia; and won 6-5 over Chad Stevens (Halifax , NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Appleton Rum Cashspiel in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia;

MacDougall finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDougall defeated Paul Landry (Lakeshore, NS) 8-2, then won 6-3 against Doug MacKenzie (Halifax, NS) and 5-3 against Matt Jackson (Halifax, NS).
