Reed lost 9-3 to Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) where Reed responded with a 8-4 win over Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB). Reed went on to lose 7-6 against Lisa Menard (Dauphin, MB). Reed responded with a 9-6 win over Jennifer Rolles (Thompson, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Reed earned 2.925 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 153rd place overall with 13.703 total points. Reed ranks 145th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.961 points earned so far this season.
