Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-5 over Kristy McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Scotties, held January 19 - 24, 2016 in Beausejour, Manitoba.
 
Einarson finished 6-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson lost 11-10 to Cheryl Reed (Brandon, MB), then responded with a 8-3 win over Lisa Menard (Dauphin, MB). Einarson won 7-1 against Jennifer Rolles (Thompson, MB), then won 8-1 against Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB) and 8-5 against Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB). Einarson won 12-2 against Barb Spencer (Winnipeg , MB), then won 9-5 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Manitoba Scotties Championship title, Einarson earned 27.300 world rankings points. Einarson move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 25.826 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 16th overall with 277.571 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Einarson ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 214.271 points earned so far this season.
