Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON) qualified for the 2017 Meridian Canadian Open playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI).

Harrison finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harrison defeated Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) 5-4, then won 6-4 against Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB). Harrison went on to lose 6-3 against Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB). Harrison lost 8-4 to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) where Harrison responded with a 7-3 win over Homan in their final qualifying round match.

Harrison earned 34.712 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Meridian Canadian Open. Harrison move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 33.111 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 18th overall with 314.887 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Harrison ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 169.508 points earned so far this season.
