Wang finished 3-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang defeated Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN) 7-3, then won 8-0 against Alisha Mathis (Schauffhausen, SUI). Wang went on to lose 5-4 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI). Wang responded with a 6-2 win over Gina Aitken (Edinburgh, SCO). Wang went on to lose 7-6 against Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Wang earned 16.671 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Glynhill Ladies International. Wang move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 12.621 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 23rd overall with 252.218 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Wang ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 224.433 points earned so far this season.
