Kleibrink finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleibrink defeated Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) 5-3, then won 6-1 against Bobbie Sauder (Spruce Grove, AB). Kleibrink went on to lose 5-2 against Kalynn Virtue (Lethbridge, AB). Kleibrink responded with a 5-4 win over Alberta's Nicky Kaufman. Kleibrink won 8-4 against Alberta's Nadine Chyz in their final qualifying round match.
