Jordan Chandler (Sudbury, NONT) qualified for the 2016 Challenge de Curling de Gatineau playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-4 against Mark Nichols (St. John's, NL).

Chandler finished 4-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Chandler defeated Rui Liu (HARBIN, CHN) 6-5, then went on to lose 8-3 against Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS). Chandler lost 6-4 to Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) where Chandler responded with a 7-6 win over Shawn Adams (Halifax, NS). Chandler won 5-2 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, MB), then won 5-2 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Chandler earned 20.955 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Challenge de Curling de Gatineau, moving up 41 spots the World Ranking Standings into 82nd place overall with 48.722 total points. Chandler ranks 64th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 23.590 points earned so far this season.
