Ferris finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Pierre-Luc Morissette (Quebec, QC) 7-1, then went on to lose 5-4 against Mark Nichols (St. John's, NL). Ferris responded with a 6-4 win over Jordan Chandler (Sudbury, NONT). Ferris won 6-5 against Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, QC), then won 5-2 against Sebastien Robillard (Ottawa, ON). Ferris went on to lose 6-4 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON). Ferris responded with a 5-3 win over Dayna Deruelle (Brampton , ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Ferris earned 20.955 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Challenge de Curling de Gatineau, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 56th place overall with 84.510 total points. Ferris ranks 33rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.710 points earned so far this season.
