Dunstone won 3-1 against Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC), then won 6-4 against Ryan McCrady (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Challenge de Curling de Gatineau, Dunstone take home 38.418 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 23rd place overall with 176.211 total points.
